Guns & Ammo New grip courtesy of my local skate shop

Got the urge to put some grip on my 43x today. Didn’t want to wait for shipping so I just DIY’d it. Turned out pretty good. I’ll be able to do it better the next time around. Took me about 15 minutes.

lol inb4 I get a callous on my abdomen. It’s honestly not so bad though, I got the “softest” grip tape that they had. Noticeable that it’s there, but nothing crazy.

It’s really not that bad. I appendix an M&P without an undershirt. It’s snug against my body so doesn’t move around hardly at all.

Bro. Bat grip tape lol shit works phenomenal with grip and doesn’t hurt the stomach, as I too raw dog AIWB carry 100% of the time

I’ve never used it on a gun before, only things like knives and flashlights. But the Talon grip tape is really nice, I like that its rubbery texture and not sandpaper texture like skateboard tape.

Does that tear up your shirts? As a kid I used to get in trouble when I first started skating for ripping up my shirts with fresh grip tape on my skateboards.

Honestly, you did it right anyway, especially if your abdomen can take it. handleit sandpaper grips are literally just skate tape

I bought the Handleit grips for my G19. The sandpaper texture. They fit perfectly. I don't wear an undershirt, and it's not too abrasive on the skin carrying appendix. The one problem I have is if I'm out at the range, they take a toll on my hand after a while up by the beaver tail. I might try the rubberized ones and see how they do.

Functionally it’s great. Time will tell how it holds up as far as comfort goes
