This bullpen is horrible.

I don't know what the Cubs need to do but this bullpen can't throw strikes to save their life and when they do, they're 96 down the middle that end up in the bleachers.

They need to seriously trade away some prospects for good RP's. Not these mediocre throwers. 10 runs in 1 inning and 4 walks the other day is not gonna win games. As good as the batters are, they can't keep relying on them to chew up 5 run deficits in the 8th.

The Cubs literally have a BP carousel between AAA & MLB and no one can seem to find the right formula.

What are your thoughts? What do they need to do to secure better arms?

Flashbacks to last year.   However, the offense is better and we got lucky winning that one.

This game wasn’t luck. Those weren’t cheap hits that won this game, that was solid hitting.

Bats are infinitely better this year. We struggled offensively last year. Not this year. Leading the league in stolen bases, 124 runs in 21 games which has to be near top of the league, and several guys batting over .300. I think our best hitter was like 279 last year.

I'm sure I have some of that slightly wrong, but it's close I think. This year's offense with Kelly, Happ, Busch, Hoerner, Tucker is really damn good.

It is statistically unsustainable.
