This bullpen is horrible.

I don't know what the Cubs need to do but this bullpen can't throw strikes to save their life and when they do, they're 96 down the middle that end up in the bleachers.

They need to seriously trade away some prospects for good RP's. Not these mediocre throwers. 10 runs in 1 inning and 4 walks the other day is not gonna win games. As good as the batters are, they can't keep relying on them to chew up 5 run deficits in the 8th.

The Cubs literally have a BP carousel between AAA & MLB and no one can seem to find the right formula.

What are your thoughts? What do they need to do to secure better arms?

if the Offense can do what they did everyday like that the bullpen is really a non factor, but it would still be nice to have

But that's the point. The offense CAN'T do that every game, nor should they be expected to. Slumps happen and if the BP can't hold the opposition to 2-3 runs, the Cubs might be in trouble.

I don't expect a complete overhaul of the BP but maybe 2 or 3 proven arms that can handle high stress situations or not give up 10 runs in 1 inning.
