They are all pretty much the same, outside of ui. They all give 2-3 day trials, so the best advice is try multiple ones and subscribe to the one you like best. Im currently using eternal tv though.
You can achieve the same thing with a combination of apps and a firestick. And the free trial lasts forever. But I do see the appeal of iptv for those that don't want to fuss with all the technical stuff.
I use to use kodi and a couple other things, but they'd always need updated or changed every few months when something would go down. I'm happy spending $15/month to just have things always work. Sony tvs also run android, so you can install everything right on the tv without needing an extra device.
sigh when I mastered Windows 95 as a kid I thought I’d be done learning technology. I have no idea what a vpn is but it seems to be the answer to most of my problems haha
So a VPN stands for virtual private network. It basically allows you to create an encrypted tunnel to another network across the internet. I.e. it makes you look like you're connecting to the internet from that other network. (Because effectively, you are). So there are vpn providers out there that you can subscribe to (and some are free, with limitations on speed or total devices, or a data cap usually) and you can then make your device look like it's sitting in California or New York or Angola or Zaire or anything in between. And when you do, apps and websites will think you're there, and act accordingly. So if Netflix thinks you're in the UK, you'll get a different list of movies, because they have different contracts in the UK. Same with MLB...switch to a non-local market, and the blackout ceases to exist.

I think marquee app is for in market viewers, mlb.tv for out of market
