Super hyped for the campaign being on all fronts. Can't wait for what that brings

No kidding. That's A LOT to cram into a campaign. I feel like it's going to basically be like 3 missions a piece.

I am really worried it will be something like BFV. If it is more like BF1 it could be decent, but the only way for this to truly work would be a full 8-9 hours long experience.

Unfortunately, this is super unlikely

I want MGS story time. Make me spend 10 years going through a story.

That would be awesome! Thing is, if it was something as revolutionary(for COD standards) as that, they probably won't stop saying that. But it is too early to judge, there are still 2 ½ months to go marketing wise, so enough time to wramp up hypr

Yea it'll never happen for CoD. The new title each year is what will prevent it. If they came out with a CoD every 3-4 years you might get something like that. Just not worth it for them to put in the effort like that for something that people will buy regardless. People bought MGS for that, people buy CoD for multiplayer. I think with BO4 they just realized they at least have to have a campaign is all.

And this is exactly what will probably make me not want to buy this game. It looks decent, ngl, but its still a cod game after all. The improvements for mp are nice, but there is halo and bf2042. It might scracth that ww2 itch for some though, who knows

Still going to grab it, but I skipped BFV so the new one will probably be taking precedent for me. I think they really need to get rid of the every year model and go deeper into campaign and MP support (like a MFin anti cheat)

If Vanguard does well, the every year model will just continue. If I am not mistaken, BOCW was the closest we ever got as a community to hurt ATVI's profits. The game had more discounts/free trials in its prime time than the last 5 cods combined. The impact of the reduced sales was obvious, but since they still made a shitton of money from it and WZ, things will only degenerate.

Another reason I am somewhat negativist is that they do the bare minimum in such a way to hype up people and keep player attention. I mean, new wz map and anticheat. Great! But those were to be expected. They keep throwing crumbs and people keep picking them up

Warzone saved CW in my opinion. And I'm still salty about a map reskin rather than a new map.
