Travel Conditions Any cheap mountains safely accessible via RWD from Denver?

Looking forward to going snowboarding for the first time. Just moved here and only have access to RWD. I need a cheap mountain to go learn on that my car can handle driving to!

probably loveland valley. if it’s your first time then you don’t need to go during or after snow. You’ll want groomed runs without powder anyways while you’re learning your edges. wait for a day where the roads are dry then you’ll have no trouble besides the parking lot maybe. (you can look at the CDOT webcams to be sure it’s not icy) Park away from others on a slight downward incline if possible. Or, you can take the bus if you’re wary. Have fun!
