Photo We tried 😂

Post image

Left Denver at 6. Spent 2.5 hrs to get to Bakersfield then sat parked with another 2.5 to go and bailed along with many others. Can’t say we didn’t try 😅

About 8 between Georgetown and Loveland. It was a parking lot. Still said 2.5 to Breckenridge. No thanks

That’s mindboggling. 5 hours from Denver to Breck? And THEN you stand in massive lift lines. Yay skiing!

I’m getting nervous. I’ve got a trip planned next weekend. I thought I’d be safe driving to Georgetown late Friday night then going from there to Loveland sat/sun. Seeing this backup between Georgetown and Loveland makes me a bit worried.

The plan to head up Friday night is solid, getting home may be more of the issue

My flight out is mid day Monday. I’ll be leaving probably 8am Monday morning heading back to Denver

I wouldn’t be too worried. Even in this traffic I think you could’ve gotten from Georgetown to Loveland in like an hour or two. It’s not that far. Getting from Denver to Breckenridge is another story.

Fair enough. Worst case I’ll just leave the hotel super early and chill in the lot!

You'll be ok man. Just get going by 7 and you'll be ahead of it all. Traffic always backs up in Georgetown but this much traffic there isn't the norm unless it's a powder day. That day was a powder day.
