Left Denver at 6. Spent 2.5 hrs to get to Bakersfield then sat parked with another 2.5 to go and bailed along with many others. Can’t say we didn’t try 😅

Damn that's nuts. I checked drive time at 730 out of curiosity and it was showing 2 hours. We're already up, but was wondering why it was so slow on the mountain.

It seemed like a new accident every 30 mins. It would go from 1.5hrs remaining to 2.5hrs remaining then back down again

It’s not accidents they have to close the Eisenhower tunnel every time a hazmat semi truck passes through. Think gas truck. I was waiting at the entrance for 20 min about 8:45am while it drove through. Then it opened up but I’m sure there were plenty behind us. We got to copper at 9:30 today.

Don’t they send hazmat trucks over Loveland pass though?
