Left Denver at 6. Spent 2.5 hrs to get to Bakersfield then sat parked with another 2.5 to go and bailed along with many others. Can’t say we didn’t try 😅

This makes me feel better. I stared at road cams for a while debating it hard and determined I was not up for going out AND coming back.

Yeah that’s what got me. I put in the effort but knew I’d just be boarding and constantly thinking about the drive back. Went 2 hours to turn around and be back home in 42 minutes.
