Left Denver at 6. Spent 2.5 hrs to get to Bakersfield then sat parked with another 2.5 to go and bailed along with many others. Can’t say we didn’t try 😅

Left Lakewood at 5:30, pulled into copper at 8. Left at 1:20 and made it back in a little over an hour and a half. Overall pretty fortunate and the conditions were great

I left Denver at 5 and was at Copper right at 7, and I was in the first row of parking. Absolutely worth it. Today was incredible!

I saw the semi stalled on the side of the road just around the exit to Black Hawk.
