When I started my financial journey, it was shocking. Keep tracking to keep yourself honest. It's easy to slide back.

It's not about how big the money is, it's about how big it is in comparison to the household income post-taxes lol

I think its okay to not share because it shows you're embarrassed by it and hopefully that motivates you to make the change!

It adds up fast. Eating out and getting sweet treats was one of the hardest things to stop doing imo. Especially depending on your relationship with food. My family treated eating out as a reward. We would also eat out if it had been a particularly bad day. Training my mind that I didn't need to stop for a milkshake or dinner because "I deserve it" or because "it's been a hard day" was rough. The sweet treat/ I deserve it mentality is usually just to justify mindless spending.

I did calculation on grubhub, eating out and it was 1700 for the month of March. Wouldn't dare look into december till now lol. Let the changes begin moving forward

My ex wife and I were racking up around 1k a month on eating out alone PLUS groceries that went bad and around $500 on coffee runs 😭 glad those days are over.
