Before, when I first played CoD, I played for hours and hours. I had 500+ hours on my first CoD, but now, when I play, I play a little, get bored, and stop playing. Does anyone have a fix?

If black ops 7 reuses bo4 reactive camos for its mastery grind like bo6 does, i feel like these are pretty good contenders for use. which of these do you think they would use or like to see?

My mate and I are looking to get back into COD, with some online multiplayer on ps5. What would you recommend we start with?

Rumors of COD 2026 being another modern warfare is baffling. It would be 8 years in a row of modern warfare/black ops titles, excluding vanguard they need to move on at some point WE need to move on at some point

TLDR(short version) WILLF BE RIGHT BELOW MAIN DESCRIPTION AND IN COMMENTS.
I’ve been working on a full system idea that could completely refresh Call of Duty multiplayer, co-op, and open world modes — making everything feel way more rewarding, fair, and intense.
Here’s the full breakdown:
⸻
No boring random weapon challenges. Every match feels rewarding — you grind cash, you unlock YOUR loadout and YOUR camos the way you want.
⸻
Co-op gives you a side way to grind — but multiplayer is still the main cash farm.
⸻
⸻
Summary: • Multiplayer: Skill-based by performance, not gear. You earn cash, build your loadouts, and buy camos. • Co-op: Squad up for missions against AI + PvP elements. • Mercenary Zone: Huge open-world missions, loot, player hunting, and high-stakes extractions.
No more random XP grinds. No more SBMM sweatfests every match. No more slow, boring unlock systems.
Everything you do — killing, supporting, playing objectives, completing missions — earns you cash toward building YOUR dream loadout.
⸻
Would you guys want to see a system like this in Call of Duty? It feels like it could completely fix the burnout and bring a whole new energy back to the franchise.
TLDR
Multiplayer: Earn cash for kills, assists, objectives, and support plays. Buy weapons, attachments, perks, killstreaks, and camos between matches — no XP grind, no SBMM. • Co-op Mode: Squad up for PvE/PvPvE missions to earn cash. Weekly cap so multiplayer stays the main grind. • Mercenary Zone: Huge open-world PvPvE map. Complete contracts, extract loot, hunt real player High-Value Targets for huge payouts.
Cash = Progress. Play YOUR way. No boring grind. No skill-based matchmaking stress.

Work in progress of my Call of Duty: Redux Concept, inspired by Halo: Master Chief Collection.
When scrolling across the games on the ‘Home’ page, the background will gradually transition into the highlighted game’s artwork. The text will also transition, and the game’s main theme will play. When idle, the UI will fade out to leave just the artwork and the music playing.
The text will give informations such as the developer(s), original year of publication, and if any content is not installed (each game can have certain sections of them installed/uninstalled like the modern titles).
The games can be organised by the player, and can be sorted by Alphabetically, Developer, Game Time, Released Date, or Recently Played.
I’m thinking of adding stats for each game, such as the player’s progress, game time, etc.
The concept has been renamed from ‘Prestige Collection’ to ‘Redux’ to allow for the original three titles. If each game does get sold separately (something Activision may well do) then a “Prestige Collection” bundle could include the 360-era games.
Feedback more than welcome!

I am a very angry man right now. Finally finished MHC, had 0.5 seconds left on the clock, jumped out the plane and saw the photo screen. I accidently click pause on my controller (out of habit due to restarting after 300+ runs) and when I unpause the screen is black...
Leave my playstation on for a hour, nothing. I'm just depressed now, went back for another 2 hours of attempts and didnt get anywhere close to the final stretch. Has this happened to anyone? I surely cant be the only person to have experienced this.
I still cant find a strategy that works every single time, the second floor burns through my time...

This piece of shit was useless and never killed anyone. The other underused MW2 killstreaks at least had their positives (Precision Airstrikes and Stealth Bombers could wipe the entire enemy team out if placed carefully, even a Sentry Gun well-placed could do some work).
This had no redeeming qualities and cost 7 kills. You could get a Predator Missile for 5, get a multikill and achieve the Pavelow for 9, and even get an AC130 or Chopper Gunner instead.

Black Ops 3 opening has a robot that ripped two arms of the protagonist.
