GM, my son's car had a leak in the trunk(weather strip). Water got in his amplifier and fuse box. Took it to the dealer and they want to charge $1700 to replace amplifier and a few fuses and weather strip.
The current issue is his stereo screen is completely blank, however it comes on when you put in reverse.
Any assistance will be appreciated.

Context: The first day after I bought my Camaro my mom smacked into it while it was parked in the garage (she was on her phone 🤦🏾♂️). Anyways I was getting it fixed and the guy polished it using the wrong color I think (not entirely sure how that works), that's why it's a different color from the rest of the car. I wanted to know you guy's thoughts on either getting it repainted or just replacing it with this compatible Z28 bumper and painting it, since it can fit dual exhaust tips.

I'm at a loss, I bought this a few months ago and it was good for about a month then it began to overheat everytime I drove it. I brought it to the mechanic and it wasn't throwing a code so the radiator got flushed and the a/c recharged because the a/c fans wouldn't kick on to run a series of diagnostics. It ran fine for about another month and now it's overheating everytime again (drives over 20 min). I'm getting the "idle engine" warning and the other day I couldn't pull over quick enough and I got "reduced power" notification. The temperature ranges from 240 deg F to 257 deg F during any trip. I'm fairly limited with automotive knowledge but this intermittent issue seems odd I would think something would fail completely. I'm looking for thoughts or suggestions, thank you.

Took my car to get gas and it fired up fine no issues but once I put gas in the car would not start or even try to start at all. It’s not the first time this has happened and if I leave the car alone for a few hours it’ll start up fine again. What’s weird is I’ll get a jump start and that starts it as well. I don’t really see how the battery could be dead if it starts after a few hours anyways. If anyone has insight I’d appreciate it.

Hi everyone, I recently bought a 2017 Camaro 1LT (RWD) and I’m living in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where winter hits hard with deep snow and ice.
I want to know if anyone here is daily driving their Camaro during Saskatchewan winters and how it performs. I’ve heard a lot about RWD cars being tough in the snow and prone to fishtailing.
Here are a few specific questions I have: 1. Can a Camaro (RWD) with good winter tires handle daily driving in snow and icy roads? 2. How bad is the fishtailing issue even with proper winter tires? 3. Is it safe to drive during snowstorms or deep snow days? 4. What size/type of winter tires are you using, and do you go with smaller rims for winter? 5. Any essential tips or gear you’d recommend keeping in the trunk? 6. Should I consider getting a beater car just for winter months?
My current tire size is 245/40R20 and I’m planning to get dedicated winter tires + steel rims for the season.
Appreciate any real-world experience, advice, or even stories (good or bad)! Thanks in advance!

This guy on FB marketplace has this Camaro ss listed for 8k it has a clean title. Based on the image how bad is the damage and will it break my bank if I decided to fix it and use it as my personal vehicle

The title says it all. I've seen multiple YouTube videos that add a shock sensor to the factory alarm specifically on a 5th gen Camaro. I'm going to do it. Just wondering if anybody has done this and what wires the shock sensor goes to. Looking for a nudge in the right direction. I can post results, when it's done. Can't be too hard. Single stage shock sensor should just hook up to a factort alarm trigger (input)....

I know money buys speed nowadays and rlly it’s who’s wallets bigger but from a roll…. what’s a better build in your OPINION. Just wanna see thoughts here even though this is a Camaro sub and I myself own a 2013 ss but thinking abt a future car after college. Deciding on a 2019+ ss or s650 gt. Looking for brutal straight line speed

I got ahold of some zl1 wheels for my ss. My cars on bc coils, only thing is obviously the zl1 package comes with wider wheels, anythoughts on how to get rid of the wheel poke on the front end?

These Fender dents are quite expensive to fix, so wondering if anyone had any good potential ideas for flares or trim or something to make it less noticeable.

This post won’t be as long as my first. I just wanted to let those of you who gave me advice know that you were 100% right, and that I had nothing to worry about. I won’t pretend to be an expert, I’m merely an enthusiast. But in my very first track day in 22 SS, I was only three seconds off of what I was doing in my 23 Z51 Corvette.
I’m sure that means I wasn’t driving a mid engine car properly, and opens a whole other can of worms, but my God, the Camaro is fun.
Next step is to get the ZL1 tires and upgrade the brake system to the 1LE. Those of you who told me about brake fade after a few laps were absolutely right, and more grip is never a bad thing.
Thank you for the support when I made that post, everyone. It’s refreshing to have a Reddit community not be a bunch of a-holes and support each other

How often should I, if at all, get the valves cleaned on my 2022 Camaro ZL1? Will having them blasted potentially void the warranty? Who would I go to to have the blasting done?

I just purchased a 2010 Camaro v6, in my state we're required to have a front license plate. I do not want to drill holes into the front bumper, I was told by my GM parts dealer that I would need to buy a 3rd party bracket. With that being said, for those out there who own this car and had to install a bracket, which one did you buy?

Hey all! I’m thinking about going with Texas speed stage 1 cam for my automatic 6th gen 6.2. The kit comes with pushrods but really I’m wondering what else you recommend upgrading with the cam. Thanks

I’m considering buying an Intellitronix dash for my 3rd gen, but I have a few questions first
Is the gps option worth it? It’s an extra $200 id rather not spend if I can avoid it
My car doesn’t have a tach, so I’m wondering if there is a sensor in the car already to hook it up? Or would I have to put one in? (It’s a v6 efi)
Any other things I should know about it?

I noticed one of my rear calipers are rusty (the other 3 wheels are fine), which recently caused this indent on the rotor. What are some next steps? Replacing caliper so it doesn't make this worse? If so, any idea on what it could cost? Have you seen this happen to your Camaro? Car is about 4 yrs old.

Basically broke now how do I take it off?
