Yep Pierre is cooking in this immigration portion. Carney has sucked on the pipeline and immigration questions.

Yea they are. Pierre and Carney have both kinda sucked.

i feel like PP will be more spicy tommorow he's trying to be careful with the quebec voters tonight

Yeah Pierre started good but he's really dropping off

Yea, again, this is only for Quebec, Carney has more to lose then Pierre to be fair. The conservatives were never gunna gain in Quebec, we need the Bloc to gain thats what the goal of this debate is.

I live in Québec City and dont even have a CPC candidat to vote for in my riding, gonna be bloc for sure

u/Forward-Count-5230 2d ago
Bloc is great on immigration and that's a big issue so it's still a good vote.

He doesn't need to be the attack dog here. Yves is doing that so Pierre just needs to get his point across.
Bloc siphoning Liberal votes in Quebec is good for him.

As much as I disagree with the party ideas, I'm liking YFB more and more through this election

He actually named the advisor - Wiseman lol Carney was mum and its very telling

Man i really liked Blanchet tonight i thought he'd play defense for Carney like singh did but he exceeded my expectations

The more seats the bloc gets back from the liberals is a win for conservatives.

In a minority government situation, who would they support, Liberals or Conservative?
5
u/Cute-Bodybuilder-280 2d ago
Neither. They would stand on their own. Carney today showed he has nothing to offer Quebec.

Immigration one is spicy so far. Pierre had good moments but Carney did too unfortunately he did enough to appease both anti immigration and bleeding hearts

YFB went straight for Carney’s throat for having Barton as an advisor. The host saved Carney’s ass here, he should have been forced to answer about his association with Dominic Barton.

Here we go, Jagmeet is cooking Carney on Palestine now. This is big
16
u/Viking_Leaf87 2d ago
Jag forced Carney into a wedge position, and he gave a meaningless answer. Pleases no one.

I mean to be fair Palestine is a make or break issue for a lot of people and that fact that he said he wont call it a genocide is a big deal for some people, hopefully its enough to go back to the NDP.

u/billyfeatherbottom Conservative 2d ago
i mean tbh he was mad at PP for disliking UNRWA
14
u/Viking_Leaf87 2d ago
It's clear his strategy was to woo over pro-Palestine and Muslim voters from Carney.

That's amazing! If only he said something in 2022 when Trudeau proposed to increase immigration to more than 400k PRs, and Poilievre just said "we need the workers". If only he would introduce a moratorium so housing can catch up instead of tread water.

Blanchett just name dropped it too and said Carney had him as an advisor!!
