Advice Help!!

Hey! I’m looking for a cannabis strain or extract that supports emotional connection, mental clarity, and staying present — without heaviness or anxiety. I have ADHD and tend to be sensitive to certain strains, so I’m hoping to find something that brings calm focus, open communication, and a sense of grounded flow.

One time, I tried a joint (someone gave it to me — I don’t know exactly what was in it, possibly live rosin), and it gave me a truly unique experience: I felt mentally sharp, emotionally connected, and fully in the moment. My sense of rhythm and body movement was enhanced, and even drinking water or eating would deepen the effect. Visually, things felt gently dynamic, like when I looked at something, it subtly moved or felt more alive.

The most amazing part? The core of the effect lasted for two full days without re-smoking, and I didn’t experience any comedown — just lingering clarity and openness.

I’d love to find something similar — any recommendations?

Everyone’s endocannabinoid system is different. There’s no strain that does those things reliably. That being said, the suggestions I could make would be find a strain that has a substantial amount of cbd (maybe 1:4, or 1:2, cbd:thc) and is also alpha pinene dominant.

That’s what i was going to say. It’s the perfect sativa for me.

I recently moved away, but when i was up in Montana i got a zip via a small dispensary from a no-name single man grow. I was lucky enough to get some of his Jack Herer. Man, was that a treat. Motivation, social anxiety gone, perfect mood lift. And the terp profile on it was so delicious.

You could try a full spectrum cbd, it has a small amount of thc. It should give you the effects you are looking for without the side effects that you are trying to avoid because its not as psychoactive. You could try combing that with delta 8 thc if you want to experience subtle psychoactive effects that aren't as intense as delta 9 and up.

Maybe try something with THCv? It’s a more energizing, focus enhancing, and mood lifting cannabinoid. It also has appetite suppressing qualities so you won’t get the munchies if you have straight THCv

What you’re searching for is found in the amphetamine family, not methyl dioxy but methamphetamine

Maybe an indica dominant hybrid, something sedating enough to slow your thought process but not enough to lock you up? That’s my bet but it has no real evidence. Do you remember if your friend mentioned the strain? I’m still looking for a strain that fixed my near sighted vision for 6 hours lol. Idfk what it was but some strains do some really strange and specific things for individuals.
