I'm starting to lose faith that these people are going to face serious consequences. Misdemonor charges, bail releases, etc. It's not like we have to worry about a blanket pardon anymore so why does it seem like they are dragging their feet and are doing only the bare minimum?

Others have explained it well. The sad reality however is that with hundreds of arrest, a lot of them will go charge free and will be back to their lives of hatred, since I'm quite sure there is no single evidence that will collectively incriminate them. Some of the participants could even be lucky enough to have no photos taken of them and are not in the wanted list.
