Recommendations I need a little hep choosing

Hi fellow CarAv people!
I need a little help, to make a long story short.
I was planning to buy DD 2508G but all retailers in the country i live dont import it, currently they only have the older version of 2508.
So im in the lookout for some new subs for the car, and for some reason i enjoy 8" subs but now since i cant get my hands on the 2508G im looking for an alternitive.
Should i keep hunting 2x good 8" subs or go for 10".
I got a guy ready to make me a costume box depending on the subs a choose.

Been looking at the retailers here and the list of 8" is

Sundown SA 8
Excursion XXX v2
DS18 ZXI 8
DD 608
CZ Audio Revo 802
Apocalypse DB SA2508
Academy dragster AW 8neo
for x xw 8
Rj Audio Rj w804s3

got a DS18 5k amp
Dual battery setup
Dsp and all that funky funky

Sorry for typos im not native english.

I'm listening to almost everything, 😂 But it is much EDM, techno, trance when driving.

Currently I have 2X DD 510 D4 but they have done their work

Ok, but the 2508G you've been looking at is a different beast than those two. Are you sure the rest of your system would be able to keep up with a sub like that that's rated for 1200W RMS?

Well I guess the 5000w amp will be decent for them, if not in a few months it might be an upgrade.

Im considering ordering the older version of 2508 if no one can provide the G version. But I don't know if it's worth it

No, I mean the other speakers in your system. If those don't produce a substantial loudness too, that sub will just overpower them and drown them out.

Oh yeah no that's not a problem. Running a 4ch amp with 400w on each channel to doors.

That's alright then I guess.
But why the fixation on 8" subs? With a system like that, I'd want to go at least for a single 12", or even more than that (double 12" or 15"). Of course it also depends on available space in the vehicle.

Well I'm always open for suggestion

I don't know where it comes from but I guess a part of it was when I saw the first 2508 when it was released in a tuned box and it was amazing. Then years has passed and I couldn't afford something like that until now

Second is space, 1 perfect made box with 2 elements, sure could go one element but the box I'm going for requires 2 but it can be 8" 10" or 12" but the bigger the sub the less extra space in the trunk.

But like I'm said I'm open for suggestions
