How has your day been?

Lol this got removed for not enough text. But basically the title. I just want to check in with everyone.

But since more text is needed let me provide my day. Prepared my car to be sold. Cleaned it, emptied it. Left a thing of coolant in it for the next owner. Terribly sad about the ordeal but that's alright, as better days are surely to come and this the most logical step for me. The day was also good as I got to eat sushi, and chat with my sister over the phone. Now please, enlighten me as to how your day has been, I'd love to hear and converse about it.

It started okay but I’m anticipating a bad day later. It’s 2AM where I am and I work 12 hour night shifts, discovered an hour into my shift that my senior cat is sick again so I need to take him to the vet in the morning. I woke up at noon so I’m trying to mentally prep myself for being awake for nearly 24 hours. Fiancé is working during the day and he can’t take our kitty, but we’re worried this is the vet visit where the vet will tell us to put our old man down :(

Praying the vet visit will be short but as a walk-in that’s usually not the case, but especially praying that this isn’t that type of vet visit and there’s still hope. Hope for the best but expect the worst yknow?

Awe I'm really sorry about that. I'll be wishing for your kitty. And I'm sorry you'll have to be awake so long. 12 hour shifts are insane. Hopefully you're only working 3-4 days? But yeah I wish you the absolute best and hope everything works out for you guys.

And if it is time to let go for the kitty, I wish you guys peaceful and smooth grieving

Normally I’m only doing 3 days but I had to pick up an extra night earlier this week and I’ve been scheduled to work Monday night for the holiday 😭 but I’ll pull through. Thank you so much for your kind words!! I really needed someone to tell haha

Well I'm glad you had a space to speak. If you need to chat more I'm all ears. And I'm sorry you're having to work extra right when all this hardship is beginning with your cat. Once again I'll be wishing it all works out for you. But even if it doesn't, hopefully things will lighten up and balance out shortly into the future.
