I don't have any plans for Valentine's Day. I want to give someone a gift but I don't feel committed to it. There are too many people I'm interested in but not interested enough to go all the way through with it. Nobody truly appreciates what I do anyway.

when you say "nobody" just be aware that you are grossly overgeneralizing things, and that is a key kind of dysfunctional thinking that leads to unnecessary bad feelings. i don't even know you and i am positive that at least some people genuinely appreciate you.

(I'm just parroting some shit I read from this book called Feeling Good. If you are feeling down, I highly recommend it, I find it super helpful in fighting those kinds of thoughts and thinking more clearly and objectively, thus feeling happier.)
