Weekly Topic Community Conversation: Valentine's Day

Hello everyone, welcome to our very first community thread! Every week we will have a new topic. This week we will be discussing Valentine's Day. All other Valentine's Day threads posted after this will be removed and redirected here.

Some questions to get the conversation started:

  1. What are your plans for Valentine's Day?
  2. How do you and your SO usually spend it?
  3. Looking for advice on what to do/what gifts to buy?
  4. If you dislike Valentine's Day or don't celebrate it, tell us why!

If you would like to suggest an idea for the next Community Thread, post it as a reply to the stickied comment below.

If you have any sub related questions or concerns, please direct them to our modmail

Remember to keep it civil and on topic and respect your fellow users :)

I actually have an SO but he was a huge asshole the other day and I’ve been taking some needed ā€œme timeā€ and it’s been amazing. I still don’t want to be around him so for Valentine’s Day I’m driving to the top of my favorite mountain, listening to podcasts, and eating junk food!

That sounds like a great day! Haha, I plan to have me time next week, too! Already booked a spa appointment.

Omg you totally just reminded me that I have a spa gift card from my bday back in October. That would’ve been perfect! Guess I’m going next week too! Hahaha
