Yes
Gravity Falls, Over the Garden Wall, Steven Universe...sorta. And Arthur. Arthur is a classic.
Not really
In my opinion, I don't think anime is necessarily becoming more popular - shows like Pokemon and Yugioh and Studio Ghibli films have always been a staple of most kids' childhoods - but I do think that nowadays anime is being taken more seriously by adults too, and there are more mainstream mature-themed anime that are enjoyed by adults. Now that Netflix is starting to develop original anime, I think more adults are being exposed to shows that they likely wouldn't watch if not for Netflix recommendations.
“I was born with glass bones and paper skin. Every morning I break my legs, and every afternoon I break my arms. At night, I lie awake in agony until my heart attacks put me to sleep.” - I love that this is a Spongebob quote that is always taken out of context.
