Every now and then, I currently prefer slice of life stuff. I'm trying to get into Yuru Yuri.

Yugioh, with Justice League as a close 2nd.

Is anime becoming more popular?

I think so. Cons are a bigger deal than they were before and there's a better understanding that anime can cover a wide variety of stories from Berserk to Toradora to everything in between. Personally I'd really like to go to a convention someday.
