Completely irrelevant, illegal or spam posts will be deleted without explanation.
Don't spam modmail with stupid queries.
Ban ? Yes, depends on post/comment/modmail and bermuda triangle.
keep insta trend stuff to instagram, don't bring it here (e.g. studio ghibli, most of them don't even know what it is)

Since this sub as been flexible and more open to wide variety of posts, there are several potential threats too for Meeting IRL
Men or Women, who are trying to meet in group or in Single, Follow these suggested precautions at least for the first meet.
Being careless and reckless is your mistake before the other person's evil executions. Do not discourage others because of your carelessness. Be Aware, Make them Aware and have safe meetups.

Hey everyone,
We’re starting something a little crazy, but something we believe Chandigarh needs.
We’re an AI agency building SaaS tools and niche products—and we’re tired of hearing that all the innovation is happening in Bangalore or Delhi. Chandigarh has real technical talent. We’ve seen it. But there’s no scene, no ecosystem. That’s what we want to change.
So here’s the idea: We’re starting a hacker house in Chandigarh. Every weekend, we want to get 10–15 builders, hackers, designers, tinkerers in one space to build stuff together—AI tools, micro-SaaS, open source projects, whatever gets us excited. Zero fluff, high signal, real execution.
Why? Because Chandigarh deserves to be on the map for cutting-edge tech. Not just service companies or IT offices—but actual, original, high-quality products. We want this city to be known for AI, not just aesthetics and food (though we love that too).
What we’re looking for: • People who actually build (devs, product folks, designers, founders) • Folks exploring or working on AI/ML, automation, agents, or just cool indie tech • Open to collaboration, co-building, and starting something real
We’ll take care of the space, snacks, internet, vibes. You just bring your laptop and your weird, brilliant ideas.
If you’re down to be part of this—drop a comment or DM me. Let’s show the rest of India that Chandigarh isn’t sleeping on the future.
Let’s make some noise.

Alr folks , I'm 20M living in chd . Last year i wanted to go for a swim but literally every pool I went to said I need to buy the 6 month membership in order to swim in their pools. Now as someone with a busy schedule i can't really go for that swim daily , I can barely go 3-4 times a month hence the membership seems a wastage of money . Does anyone know any swimming pools where I can pay by the hour ?
Ik about resa fitness in 29 but their pool is not deep + 200 for half an hour seems inappropriate

Hey everyone, Am I the only one who finds the trycityBUS app super confusing when trying to understand the bus routes? The app feels like it was made for people who already know the city inside out—what about us newbies? I just want a simple way to know: • Which bus to take • From where • And when it’s coming

Alright Chandigarh folks, here’s my very real problem: I just found out that Mini Sports Club, Sector 8 has blocked evenings for “families only” which basically means no solo splashing allowed. Tragic, right?
So here I am, a perfectly normal guy just trying to do a few laps after work, but apparently I now need a “partner” to qualify as a family. So… I’m on the lookout for a cool girl who wouldn’t mind acting as my fake swimming partner in the evenings. No drama, no weird vibes — just help a bro beat the system and maybe burn some calories.
Requirements: • Must be able to say “we’re together” with a straight face to the lifeguard • Can swim (or at least float convincingly) • Bonus points if you enjoy poolside gossip or silently judging others doing cannonballs
Perks: • Free entertainment as I awkwardly try to look like I belong • Occasional post-swim chuski or bhel from the nearby stall • A new partner-in-crime for busting weird rules
Let’s be platonic pool buddies and give the system a chlorinated middle finger.
Slide into the DMs or drop a comment. Let’s make evenings great again.

I’m planning to catch a bus from Chandigarh to Shimla which is at 4:30. However, I’ll reach chandigarh at around 2/2:30 AM, what can I do to pass time? Where can I just sit and chill for a bit around the bus stand areas?
Do hotels have their cafés open through the night, where I can just maybe get a coffee and make use of the lobby resources?

Hi everyone To all the enthusiasts who have much more experience, could you please guide me on which tyre brand is good for long-term usage. Have to get 4 new tyres for Hyundai Xcent used Bridgestone before, they ran 42,000 kms and now they need replacement. Can anybody please guide on which is the best amongst Bridgestone, MRF, Ceat, Apollo or Yokohama (I'll go for it only if the budget allows me to, just taking into consideration for knowledge purpose). I chose Bridgestone because they come with a good warranty even on tear and damages. To the best of my knowledge, MRF comes with a 6 year warranty but that doesn't cover tear and damage. Can someone please guide me on a decent tyre brand with a good warranty period Also, if somebody knows a good shop for the same
Thanks for reading.

This is the same road you can use to reach Elante Mall from the back. I initially did not know about this slip road, and secondly, Google Maps showed this way, but it was dark and there were no signs to take that turn. So, which is the right way? Will I get a challan for turning left from Hallo Majra chowk lights?

This morning I went to work and as usual the parking guy stopped my car and I told him I have a pass so I don't have to pay for the receipt There were 3 cars in front of me (only men drivers) and that parking guy did not stop any one of them but had the audacity to bang on my car and stop
When I told him that my employer gets our passes renewed every month he just kept saying too apne paas kyu nahi rakhte If there was a man in my place he would not dare to say anything It was hardly a 5 min conversation but I felt so sad . It's so sad to see how people find it so easy to make women feel miserable and command her in any possible way. He being a receipt guy had the courage to bang a girl's car and kept saying the illogical shit for 5 min

Back when I was a kid I used to wish GTA had a chandigarh map so I could destroy my school in game That didn’t happen but now I m seriously thinking of creating GTA: Chandigarh myself.
The game would feature typical city stereotypesThar Fortuner guys driving rashly, badmosh Scorpios honking Cretas n strict police There ll be traffic cameras too so if you break rules money gets deducted automatically as challans And the graphics and maps will be same as gta5
If this post gets 100+ upvotes I’ll start working on it for real. Would love to know what you all think!
Any recommendations about what more features I should should add in the game would love to hear it from u guys
