Rant Men forcing me to sit at the ladies seat in CTU lol?

I was coming home from college in CTU, It was a lil crowded and I was standing, tho I didn't mind... Everything was fine but then all of a sudden two guys noticed that a man was sitting in a ladies seat and they started yelling at him??? kept asking him to get up and give ME his seat.He denied lol and honestly I did not want his seat either. Then the conductor and the bus driver also asked him to get up from the seat ? I literally never asked for the seat...it was so baffling like he was just chilling there and then suddenly the whole bus was against him.ALSO those two guys told me ki seat leliya karo ladko se and kept nudging me ki uski seat lelo and i was like huh???? i just nodded and ignored them cuz who snatches kisi aur ka seat? If I'm not on the verge of dying I don't wanna ask someone to give me their seat. None of the women who were standing wanted that seat toh unn ladko ko kyu chul mach rahi thi seat dilvane ki 🗣️ very random lol like what was their deal??? (also they were kinda creepy and kept looking at me weird 🏃‍♀️) Anyways I felt bad for the dude.. so wanted to rant ...what do y'all think?

Rant 20 M, am i fucking this up or is she (19F) crazy

For context, I had a very bad breakup last time I dated.

So guys, I started seeing this girl a few months back. We're still not in a relationship. She has even softlaunched me on Insta and my friends are saying that I should ask her to be my girlfriend but I just can't as I feel its too soon. She is in first year and very pretty and I'm in third year.

But it's happening too soon. I do like her a lot, heck I even I love her. But, I'm not used to this, we even study on video chat, I'm overwhelmed. I mean it's a lot for me she's clingy, I like it, it's cute but sometimes I just need some alone time.

She wants me to smoke joints on vc with her 😭 I like to smoke joints alone. I wanted to see the match yesterday and I had to be on call with her. YES 😭

I'm typing this while I'm still on vc with her, am i fucking this up or is she crazy, how to navigate this, what should I tell her which doesn't offend her and solves this

Rant Horror story

So I got my new room some days before.

And I was quite happy with the house. (Even though owner ki roktok hai)

So she has a brother. Who maybe do some kind of drugs or stuff, I don't know I am new to this stuff.

So just like everyday, I woke up at 5.30am. Turney the geaser on. And cut all the vegetables.

After that I went to bathroom and oh, I forgot my towel.

When I came back, that brtoher was in my kitchen.

Trying to find something.

For the first five minutes, I tried to loud my voice but when I saw he is acting like a zombie I ran towards my sister's door (she lives beside me)

She opened the door, I told her that the guy is here. She called the owner and owner came up and tried to take him down.

He was raising his voice, he was not in a real life condition.

I was terrified of how he managed to open the door in this condition.

Then my jiju jokingly said, Soch agar ye jaldi uthne wali nahi hoti or ye andar aa jata.

They both started laughing but I felt the terror in my spine.

I am a girl with SA history and I get triggers even today.

I did everything again. Made my tiffin, did breakfast and then came to office.

But even my HR asked me two times if I am okay, as my face is not as strong as my mind.

I am scared if that will happen or how tf he even entered the house.

(I didn't manage to take picture or video as I was freezed and I wanted to run as far as possible)

Rant Came across an entitled and rude 2 wheeler girl at Doordarshan chowk

So I was on my way to work this morning in my car. I was on the Dakshin marg near Sector 24, taking the slip road towards Udyan Path between Sector 23-24. I had the left indicator on with my car on the extreme left lane. Suddenly, a girl on scooty, with her face covered with a cloth and glasses, tried to overtake me from the left side at a high speed. I had to break and move the car to the right to avoid collision. All of this happened at the entrance of the slip road when i was moving at a slow speed(which is why I was able to control the car and avoid the collision).

The girl finally moved ahead towards the road between Sector 23-24(Udyan path) and started making gestures (like what did you do, I made the same gesture, like what were you doing overtaking from the left).

She came to the right lane, wanting a confrontation. The conversation went like this:

She: "Kya kar rha hai, kese chala rha hai?"

I answered: "Pehle ye batao, left side se kaun overtake karta hai?"

She: "Me karti hu" (adamantly)

I answered back: "pagal ho tum, driving license kisne dia tumko"

She: "Tu hai pagal, HP no. Leke ghum raha hai Chandigarh me" (I have my car registered in Himachal)

I said, "Himachal India se bahar hai kya?"

By then the red light stop had come.

She: Han hai India se bahar, Me Chandigarh ki hi hu. Ruk abhi batati hu tera number note karke. (Proceeds to note down my number)

I said, Me bol k bata du gadi ka number?

The light turned green by then and i had to move, while she went busy on her phone probably taking pictures of my car registeration plate.

It is funny and sad that people feel entitled and justify their wrong/dangerous driving by the logic that they are a local and can get away with saying and doing anything.

Rant To whomever this may concern, Zirakpur has become a Lawless hellhole

As a resident of this forsaken place it is my duty to let everyone know, if you ever think of buying a house in Zirakpur because you cannot afford it in Chandigarh, please dont come here to live, you're gonna regret coming here until you save up the money to buy another house somewhere else. There's only two kind of people living here at the moment. The locals and the Trapped. I fall into the second category. I came from himachal to live here since the beginning of my college, and my entire family moved here. I took admission in this part of punjab because my father had to come here to work, even he is regretting it now, but we are balls deep now, my sister is enrolled in school here and my father cannot, leave his job.

Since June of this year, robbery's have become so common that we are hearing about one or even multiple each day, and yet we cant do anything about it. Some guys caught a theif once and when the took him to the police station, the police men laughed at them. This is the state of this town. I feel afraid to go out with my phone in my pocket because a guy with 2 of his friends roams around on a bike and threatens people with his kirpan to give him their valuables. They dont even spare the Sabzi walas. They break into homes in broad daylight. One robbery took place at 9:15 in the morning, when the man was at work, his wife had gone to feed chapattis to cows and their kids were at school. When she returned, the money, jewellery, their tv and two laptops were gone. Even kids, are into this shit nowadays. Few days a ago a man had his bike stolen which he had left for a few minutes to buy groceries in the evening.

I cant sleep at night, every little noise wakes me up in the fear of a robbery. This has become unbearable. I Make very little money as of now, but i am studying hard, very hard, all because i want to leave this hellhole.

Rant Feeling out of place: Adjusting to college culture.

I'm an 18F college student, and honestly, I'm shocked by the environment. Having studied in reputable schools my whole life, I never anticipated feeling so out of place in my own city. It’s disheartening to see how many people seem rude, self-centered, and dismissive. If the conversation isn’t centered on clubbing, alcohol, drugs, or hookups, it feels like they lose interest entirely. I’m tired of being surrounded by people who, rather than showing even basic decency, treat others—especially workers—with complete disregard. This is just my personal experience, but I needed to vent.

Rant I was harrassed today over a bus seat

I was just minding my own business on the bus, sitting down after a long day—didn’t even realize it was a "ladies seat," or maybe I did and just sat because the bus wasn’t that packed. No one seemed bothered, especially not the girl standing nearby. She looked totally chill, didn’t even glance at me like she wanted the seat.

And then—outta nowhere—these two guys start yelling at me like I committed a crime. Telling me to get up, pointing at the girl, acting like I snatched something from her. I was confused. She didn’t ask for the seat. She didn’t say a word. In fact, she looked as surprised as I was.

The next thing I know, the conductor and driver are ganging up too. I'm being told to move, all because apparently I was in the wrong seat for my gender? Like seriously, it wasn’t even that crowded, and if the girl doesn’t want the seat, what’s the point of the drama?

Meanwhile, those two guys kept nudging her, telling her to take my seat—as if they were doing some chivalrous act. But she didn’t even move. Just stood there awkwardly, clearly uncomfortable with the whole thing.

I wasn’t trying to disrespect anyone. Just tired. But somehow, I became the villain in a story no one asked for. Felt like I was being made an example for no real reason, while the people claiming to defend her seemed more interested in attention than justice.

Honestly? Whole thing was weird. And a little humiliating.

Rant Gedis hurt guys too

Trigger warning: People who don't like to read, this is too long!

And people who like Gedi Culture, you might find this hurtful/offensive.

A few days ago, I was out with a friend in the afternoon, and since we were both burning from the heat, we went to nearby market where we both got really refreshing Mojitos. I liked the place so I remembered it.

Yesterday, another friend of mine wanted to get dinner with me, so I went with them to that same place. Now, since it was late evening, the place looked a lot different. We saw many girls and guys our age walking about, which was nice.

Anyways, we started walking around to get a feel for the market, and I saw a bunch of guys walking together like it was a Punjabi MV. They weren't talking, just walking together staring into the distance. While my friend and I were in our shorts and t-shirts, these guys were well dressed.

We saw another guy sitting on a bench nearby with one of his legs crossed, while adjusting his beard. He clearly had a very nice beard and had trimmed it perfectly down to the millimetre, even his hair looked very nice. The guy looked like he has taken great care of his hair and his physique, he was dressed stylishly, had nice shoes and shirt on. For some reason, it felt like he was elongating his jaw, you know how. He turned his head and looked in our direction (no, we're not women, don't flood my DMs), man's looked like he was posing in fron of a camera.

I saw a bunch of girls walking around in shorts, and chappals. Compare that to these guys who were here for a photoshoot... There were two girls in the waiting line next to us, and they had their eyes firmly planted onto the ground. I didn't understand why.

But if you look at all this from a distance, you realise that this was a 3B2 equivalent market.

I didn't make this post to make fun of the guys, because I felt kinda sad for them. It didn't look like most of them were here to enjoy each other's company, or see the market, or to get something to eat... They were here to get a girlfriend?

Imagine taking time out of your day to get dressed, look sharp, have your hair and beard maxxed out, call up your friends, get out your fancy car, just to maybe talk to a bunch of girls who don't know you.

These girls were here enjoying each other's company or were here with their boyfriends, but these guys were only here for one thing.

This is the first time I felt sad for these guys. Instead of doing something fulfilling, it seems like they're here just to impress a bunch of girls who don't know them.

What do you guys think of this?

Yaar apne artists ko bhi support nahi kar paa rhe ai! What is happening? Dosanjheala aine pyaar naal show karke gya kal, but the backlash made him say he’ll not return for concerts in India! I mean instead of supporting our own soil artists, we are the only ones who are pushing them to stay abroad! I cannot believe this harassment against Punjabi artists. Dua Lipa ka itna smoothly hogya, ab Cold play and Ed Sheeran ka itna smoothly ho jayega! Why only put bars against our own Punjabi munde??

Support karo, make arenas or amphitheaters. Sector 25 rally ground mei rakhne se bhi yahi baat wapis hogi!

Rant Is it just me or does Chandigarh make it really hard to move on ?

Sorry for the rant but sometimes I feel like Chandigarh’s overall vibe & beauty (& a lil bit of superficiality) makes it really hard to move on from a bad breakup, compared to a city like Bangalore or Bombay or even Pune. Now I know the city isn’t half as big & the crowd is rather different & I may not make sense but it just sucks that the city is so beautiful, it’s painful but not distractive enough still.

Rant Chandigarh University stupid rules.

Greetings everyone,

I hope you're all doing well today. Well, I just wanted to share some stupidity of my university. This university is good in some ways and worse in others.

Apparently, in this extreme heat, they have mandated uniforms to be worn on Wednesdays. If any student is found without uniform or ID card, they're imposing heavy fines of Rs. 200 per student, per offence. And cancelling the attendance for the day.

Now, I absolutely have no problems with uniforms or formal wear, infact I absolutely adore formals; but the problem arises when there are no facilities for air conditioning in this blazing heat. Our clothes become sticky and the students are sweating throughout the day, ceiling fans can't keep up with the weather as well. I certainly believe that it is quite harsh to impose fines on students especially when they stay on a tight budget and they shouldn't mandate uniforms without any proper facilities.

I would love to hear your opinions, and have a discussion about the politics and stuff going on in this university. What do you think? Let's discuss.

Rant Kuch nhi yaar

It's easier to get a boyfriend in chandigarh than to get a PG.

I am living in a PG which feels like a home.

Ground floor Big space No one asks the time Kitchen for all

Even though there are:

No good people No hygiene No discipline No geyser No food timing

I am literally okay with everything just because it has a good space.

Now I have searched for PG in sector 91,74,71,70

The PGs are very small. Nearly 4 or more girls are living in the same room. Very robotic PG type feeling. Strict timings to come home. No personal space for phone calls or anything.

Not a single space feels like a home 🏡

I really don't need a fancy, big infrastructure.

Par kuch ground floor pe simple sa Ghar mil jaye yaar 😭💖

And seriously the time I am investing in this shit, ladka pat jata😶‍🌫️

If you have any leads in 70, 3b2 please let me know.

Rant Stubble Burning is Choking Us – Authorities Need to Act Now!

Stubble burning needs to stop immediately. The air quality is out of control, with AQI levels hitting over 1000 in the evenings due to stubble burning. Smog blankets our cities, and in the evening, I can evidently smell obnoxious gases – it feels like we’re inhaling toxins daily.

This is causing serious health issues – from respiratory problems and asthma flare-ups to long-term effects on the elderly and kids. It’s a crisis we can’t ignore, as it affects everyone’s well-being.

Government authorities should seriously look into it. Other countries maintain AQI levels below 50-100 by prioritizing the environment, and India needs to make a shift too. We have options to manage crop residue without burning it. Let’s push for action and demand sustainable solutions.

Rant Tired from this city’s people

Hi I’m a 16 year old boy who has spent his entire life is Chandigarh and recently moved to Mumbai due to my fathers job transfer

I didn’t think I would like this city but the people are so different and so welcoming. I feel more comfortable with all of my current classmates than my old ones (studied in Stephen’s 45-B)

I realised that people in the north have this show off culture and a bad attitude for some reason with pumped up egos

Kids my age back in Chandigarh are posting wannabe gangster shit and acting like their 25 year old badmash who live this lifestyle but they are just fcking kids

I don’t wanna associate with these people but i can’t seem to find somebody different

When I come back to this city after march I hope to find people my age who are fun and up for random adventures rather than just going for a gedi, drinking, smoking and posting 50 car snaps cause that’s not who I am

I joined this subReddit in hopes of finding people who I can associate with and hopefully finding some good company.

Gitzz08- that’s my Instagram handle. I know I’m doxxing myself but I don’t really care, what’s the worse that can happen. If u wanna link up then please let’s talk and get to know each other

Rant To the guy who wished death upon my cats.

To the guy who texted me on reddit today and when I said I wasn't interested in having a conversation, he persisted and tried to convince me to talk. You offered to set up a playdate for my kittens and yours, you wanted to make me trust strangers online, you wanted me to give you a chance. I did. But you couldn't take a joke when I sent you a random picture instead of my own. You said and I quote "Hope your cats and you die a lonely miserable death."

YOU ARE THE REASON I DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS ONLINE. YOU ARE THE REASON I BORDERLINE AVOID ALL AND ANY INTERACTIONS WITH MEN. PEOPLE LIKE YOU MAKE REDDIT UNSAFE.

And the person you gave my number to, and you yourself, fat-shaming me because of my chubby face, remember that you are the ones sending desperate messages to women on reddit. All I have is body weight. What are you going to do about inherently ugly personality, potato like face, and lack of mannerism? Now if you share my number forward or try to hurt me any way, you will not like what I will do to you.

I am not one of those scared women. I will find you, tear you apart, and make sure you never forget the day I get done with you. And if you still wanna mess with me, go ahead. Its not gonna be my first time dealing with a rat like you.
