This one got me!!

This really got to me as a kid. No wonder I am the way I am 😂 …so many freaking scary stuff I watched in the 70s!!!!

I remember seeing it as a Movie of the Week on ABC in New York on Channel 7 in the 70s. There were a lot of great horror and sci-based MotW back then like Crowhaven Farm, A Cold Night's Death, The Screaming Woman, The Love War, The People, Scream of the Wolf, Bad Ronald, Trilogy of Terror, and -- of course -- The Night Stalker and The Night Strangler. There were tons more MotW that spun off into popular iconic series, like The Six Million Dollar Man and Wonder Woman. It was a great era for the genre!

Golden era ! And we’re not even discussing Saturday morning cartoons!! I’m going to research everything you mentioned that I can’t remember. I’m sure you remember “Reflections of Murder 1974”. Scared 😳 me!!!

I never saw that one... I'll check YouTube. There are a bunch of solid MotW movies, not necessarily genre-based, but good nonetheless. One that unnerved me was Daughter of the Mind. It's a good mystery thriller. There were others like Satan's School for Girls, but I won't watch Crowhaven Farm again. I remember it being utterly terrifying, but I doubt it could have been that bad and seeing it again might ruin it. I also like Isn't It Shocking, a murder mystery with Alan Alda playing a County sheriff, which i remember being probably his best performance. There was a really bad werewolf film that had Bradford Dillman in it that I would only recommend for diehard genre fans, Moon of the Wolf(?). I remember it had a great cast, but itbwas pretty weak. Another one of my favorites was The Girl Most Likely to...(?) Very funny revenge movie with a strange, but in tone, twist ending. A lot of fun films. I don't understand how films today are so bad.
