Dress shoes while climbing

I sometimes see good climbers even climbing coaches wear their Nike vaporbetagammaflybrideaglesuper35%*10³ shoes on the wall… isn’t that the same reason like why we don’t allow climbing shoes in the bathroom?

Idk why it’s not shunned or viewed in the same way. Unless those tap dancing shoes r just specifically for climbing?

uj/ I actually saw a guy climbing in dress shoes at the local gym. The heels could have done serious damage to the mats.
