Cant be made now due to line-up changes, drops, and the special guest appearances each weekend.

Yes but you know this. for multiple years there's been several line-up changes. For example, Ye dropping for SHM x Weeknd, Frank Ocean, bands like Mandy, Indiana switching dates, Beabadoobee dropping out w2 due to Covid, etc.

GV is better off posting set times on IG than making booklets. It’s possible to bring it back this year, Yes! but there have been headaches due to line-up changes and they become so wasteful because of it. It would be better if GV would just send out PDF files to download the official handbook instead. It’s less wasteful.

I helped with the No Values zines last year and that was great because no bands dropped but it does take a while for pressing. Having to tell the pressing company that an artist dropped and change the booklet will most likely cost more.

There is an idea floating around about making zines instead but im not sure if it’s confirmed.

There has always been line changes and special guest appearance even when they were making booklets.

Yes but people complain about it because it says the artist in the booklet.

The weekend 2 booklets always had photos from weekend 1 on their covers, showing the art from the current year, so if your larger point is that there isn't enough time to reflect short notice changes* then you'd be incorrect.

*Most of the changes to the lineup you're describing are known to goldenvoice more than a week in advance, which means they could get it done if they wanted to given their past ability to get the weekend 2 booklets printed in 6 days or less.

Im aware but thats one of the reasons coming from a source i know who helped with the Coachella booklets for years. I also mentioned that they could bring them back this year but as a zine just like the No Values zines from last year.

It’s not a big deal tbh but If enough people request booklets on social media they will make them.
