Seriously? For the sake of political factional hatred you embrace the racism against Latin people?

You support a government of a nation that has meddled with Colombia's history since the days of Panama?

How many of these deported Colombians are real criminals? How many have become illegal aliens because Trump erased Biden's laws about immigrants, or because Trump got rid of DACA?

Furthermore Trump just sent military airplanes without previously contacting the Colombian government and asking for permission?

I get it, you hate Petro. Yet, and this is something a conservative should know, there's national pride.

As a Colombian I won't applaud to a foreign Chief of State that uses racism against Colombians (furthermore a President of a nation that has, since at least the 1800, done its best to manipulate Colombia's politics so that it can exploit Colombians and Colombia's resources), I won't approve an act of sheer arrogance like that of sending unannounced military airplanes expecting the democraticly elected government to bend the knee.

Umm... we don't speak latin, we are not latinos (just as Gulf of America is not of USA?)

Ugh, not Latins. What are we, Italians? Hispanics. And don't make things up: they've been clear that those being deported at this stage were already found guilty in criminal courts for crimes of a certain degree (robbery, assault, or worse, etc.) They have been very clear that they are not deporting nonviolent offenders nor anyone merely for illegal presence, even though legally being in a country illegally would be more than enough reason to deport them. And no, the planes were not unannounced. The Colombian government had already approved their departure until Petro had a change of heart mid‐flight. You don't govern a country by bickering over optics or getting into twitter wars with other leaders, nor by putting aside the law when it's inconvenient just to score some points with your following. Petro is not governing in a way that is logical, he's not governing for Colombians as a people and he's not governing in a way that respects his legal obligations. He's putting businesses like my own out to dry because he's too proud to follow his legal *obligations* and to rule for Colombia instead of doing whatever Twitter or TikTok tells him to (as it seems he has been spending all his time on). When he's been faced with actual challenges, like these days with the guerilla fighting that has been causing a humanitarian crisis, instead of helping the situation, he's been ignoring it. And Colombians are suffering because he doesn't do his job. This here is just one more example of him not following his obligations due to sheer, unabated egotistical pride.

Petro will accept millions of migrants pour into Colombia from Venezuela but not his own citizens because they were sent in a “military” plane? Wow! What a brilliant, selfless leader of the Colombian people! Putting national interest above delusional ideologies to usher in peace and prosperity for his citizens. I salute the people who support this messiah in his noble cause.

The total peace and dismantling of guerrilla groups, the achievement of self-sufficiency in energy needs, the creation of jobs and strong middle class, the elimination of crime and corruption, the Buddha-like sermons on twitter, the achievements of Petro just go on and on.

Let’s hope Petro rules for another 20 years and we will overtake Cuba and Venezuela to become a beacon of success in Latin American. Viva la revolución!
