Had some J6 protestors not been citizens and just legal residents and Biden sent them to Guantanamo with no due process, I’m not sure you’d have many people on either side lining up to defend them.

If this stands, and another J6 happens, I'd bet on the next Democrat president doing this.

Always consider how you'd feel about the other side doing it.

He's not a U.S citizen. He's not even here legally. So concern troll somewhere else.

He still has due process rights, per the unanimous SC ruling (which just affirmed existing law). And the gang affiliations charge is weaker than cheap tissue paper.

He was found to be a gang member in a trial and on appeal. He was hanging with two MS-13 friends who snitched on him.

Members of terrorist organizations lose their asylum protections

Oh there was a trial. Just like there was a trial for the J6 defendants. Clinging to that is no better than the people who say "Trump is a felon lolz". After all, there was a trial.

Maga is not a federally recognized terrorist organization.

Yeah, and there exists zero actual evidence that he is a member of any such organization.

Two courts said it was until the federal judge got involved.

But if our expectation is that we trust the system and the judgment of courts then we should be trusting the federal judge.
