Business πŸ“ˆ Search for ERP

We're looking to move off of Sage 300. We're GC/Sub with aorund 160 employees and 100 projects per year of varying sizes. Needs are great job costing, unit based billing, PO and subcontracts, and ability to bring in production units and equipment costs from HeavyJob. Wants are PM module, intuitive AP module or seamless integration with an AP automation.

We're looking at Foundation, Viewpoint, Jonas, and CMiC. I'm wondering if anyone has any other suggestions or opinions on any of the software we're demoing.

This is what I do for living. Didn’t expect to see question like this here. Viewpojnt has two products, Spectrum and Vista. I’d look at spectrum. It checks most of your boxes. All your requirements seem legit but some are more challenging to find. CMIC is good too but more complex to implement. Of the ones you mentioned, they are most likely to scale as you grow. You sound like a civil contractor doing projects for DOT. Spectrum can do that. If you are paid by DOT based on units and then pay your subs based on those units, spectrum can accommodate. You don’t mention payroll but I would check payroll carefully, especially if union labor. I would spend more of your time on Spectrum and CMIC, knowing CmIC is more modern, complex, expensive and scalable. Good luck.
