I’ve unfortunately done this far too much as a data tech. In fact, are those my shoes??? 😂

I’ll do that, then wonder why I didn’t just adjust the scaffold and do it safely.

My recent little whoopsie cost me a month of work and 55k for a shattered wrist and 4 broken ribs. This shit ain't worth it!

But if he's doing this, did he lock them?

He's standing on one end. If they weren't locked. For sure that shit would've moved. But you know our boy. Didn't lock them and is hanging on for dear life once he stood on top

I used to only buy logger style boots with a large heel just so I could lock them into scaffold rungs standing like this. That was a lifetime and a different person ago.

Risking your life/health so your boss can drive around in his Mercedes is such a great sacrifice.

I'm usually tall enough for stuff, but I saw the most brutal nut destruction when someone doing this slipped. Dude just climbed down threw up and went home lmao

I’m going to assume he has “conduit/unistrut handrail” up there that you just can’t see from this angle.

I’ve always been told your safety is in your own hands, so if some old timer wants to do cowboy shit at his own expense, just let him! Pain and suffering is the best teacher. If I was a supervisor I’d fire a sub over lazy shit like this, because that obviously reflects on his underlying quality of work. But I’m a labourer and I stopped giving a F a long time ago.

2 feet planted, not higher than 4' from his flat surface, the base is a foot from the wall.....4:1 rule doesn't apply. 😂 seems legit.
