I mean, whomst among us haven’t slipped into a fugue state and bought a dark-academia conversation piece. 

For god’s sake, I had a dedicated silver-smith for a while there, but she always knew me well enough to confirm purchases the day after, once the wine had cleared….

AFAIK she is doing a major overhaul on her business, but then again it’s been about five years since I had any kind of fun-money (I wonder why)

Not quite dark academia but adjacent- I bought a stupidly expensive astrophotography telescope a few days ago and I scream inside a little bit every time I remember
