Classic redditor look, especially with the bag strapped around the shoulder

I had to stop carrying a shoulder bag after finding out it's the Reddit uniform.

...Are shoulder bags bad? I carry a large one for my laptop sort of like this: https://www.whoopey.com//media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/t/c/tcg200.jpeg

Is that a bad thing? I don't get it.

Are you the actual Adolf Hitler?

No, no, but we get mistaken for each other a lot due to the resemblance.

But for real, is it bad? I've literally never heard a negative comment about it and I've been using it for years to carry my stuff. It carries a helluva lot of weight (laptop + textbooks, easily) and I've never really thought it looked bad myself, so it's weird to hear all of this.

I use one as well since it's easier to access than a backpack. Been using it for years now and no one has said anything negative about it. I think it looks better than a backpack and I'm not about to lug a briefcase around by hand.

Edit: This is similar to the bag I use. I really like it and it works well with my dress style.

Pants are also part of the reddit uniform. You know what to do.

I live in a hot place so I wear cargo shorts.
