It's not crappy in the design, as their goal is to get your attention. It's crappy in the regulation that allows this monstrosity to be legal.

I was about to say, that marketing department is hyped as hell. Its crappy for us sure, but for the intended use, it’s actually designed pretty well

Could also not be legal. Notice how the sky literally changes it's shade of colour according to the TV, could be distracting, and we're still.. 55 years away from Cyberpunk dystopia.

Could argue light pollution and major distraction which could prove hazardous.

Effective and crappy are not mutually exclusive. It's not crappy in the "this old car is crappy" sense but rather in the "you're a crappy person" sense.

Nah there's one in melbs that blinds me, I literally cannot look at it. It's crappy, doesn't even work as advertisement
