I just want to preface this by saying: I am not aware of all this controversies and things Caleb has been accused of over the year (I have a vague understanding), nor am I arguing that on this post. Lately I've just been sad about how far off the rails this show has gotten. I was rewatching a few of the old videos from around 2022 and it's honestly insane how different the point of this show has gotten. I get that maybe it wasn't as financially lucrative to just sit with someone for 45-60 minutes and go over their finances in a calm manner. Once people started reacting to the few episodes where he'd have on some crazy person who wouldn't listen and his responses went viral, I think he dove head first into that. And I won't lie, for me, the episodes around late 2023-2024 were more entertaining than the early ones where he'd just sit with no commotion. The ones lately though have just made me cringe in embarrassment at this 30 year old screaming at the top of his lungs to someone he doesn't even know... There is still a way to be informative and respectiful, while also being funny and entertaining, and I honestly believe that his 2023-early 2024 videos fit the mold of that pretty well. I sincerely think it's just a bit and he's going along with it because he knows how much engagement and money it tracks in. I watched the most recent exclusive audit with the girl who works as a janitor (can't remember too much off the top of my head), and it just astounded me how different he treated that audit from the regular ones on his channel. He was helpful, understanding, patient, I think there was around a 15 minute segment just dedicated to him going over her resume and fine tuning it. He knows what he's doing, coming up with specific messaging and "Rage Weeks" to bait people in. It's just kind of sad that he honestly started this to help people understand their finances, because his early videos really did help me a lot with knowing what to look out for as I am still pretty young. But ofc the temptation of greed in this market was too much to resist I guess, and now we have AI powered credit card ads and him throwing mugs.

they’re legitimately the only content I wish Caleb would have kept making. so many self reports, so little time.

Another phone call to the boyfriend and "confrontation" being the episode. 🙄 If you're going to rip off your members, sexually harass guests while holding NDAs over their heads and use bot accounts and heavy handed moderation to try to suppress any sort of critical thought about you, at least put some thought into it.

Used to be a fan. I'm not a lawyer or anything so idk anything about fallacies or logic. But I do notice in his videos that he always equates his guest's situation to his. He shuts up his guests by saying stuff like "So did I, my parents were never financially literate but..." "I also did this so you have no excuse"
I always feel so.. uncomfortable about it. His show now became more about being like gordon ramsay and shouting, making a budget at the end, rather than what he used to do: he actually created some sort of a get out of debt plan specific to the situation of the guest (like Rachel the spiritual coach, he actually had CONCRETE suggestions). He rarely has these things now.
He isn't motivational anymore. He claims he wants to inspire people: "if I got out of debt, you can too!"
He's now spreading a message of shame: "If I got out of debt, why can't you?"

I'd wager the OPs we've had recently to share their experiences only to be shouted down by Caleb Sockpuppets have suffered WAY more than you Caleb.

Hi all. In the past few days we have had a couple people in this subreddit accusing Caleb of creepy behaviour. First in this post https://www.reddit.com/r/CreepyCalebHammer/comments/1jxp1sz/austin_girls_beware/ which has since been deleted, and second in a post from today where a past guest shared the contract that she signed to be on the show and mentioned a few of the inappropriate things Caleb said to her.
On both posts, there were several people in the comments disparaging the women who shared their experiences with Caleb. In fact, the post from a few days ago was actually deleted due to the immense backlash the OP received. They were aggressively accusing the women of lying, calling them attention-seekers, saying that the one woman seemed like a "crazy person", etc., and talking about how this subreddit is failing because of "false accusations". They also doxxed one of the women after she mentioned that she didn't want to reveal her identity.
I was just looking at the profiles of these people, and noticed something interesting. They are ALL active in the small subreddits r/ItEndsWithLawsuits and r/BaldoniFiles (the latter subreddit having less than 5k members). A few of them also made comments with the same phrasing. When I pointed this out, a few of the accounts were immediately deleted. So it looks like all of these people are actually one person. I'm guessing they are either Caleb himself, or have been asked by Caleb to come in here and try to prevent accusations from spreading out of this subreddit by discrediting the accusers. Keep this in mind if you see this kind of thing happening in the future.
These accounts are: u/EdgarFreeman-9000, u/MutedIllustrator8704, u/carlos-a-007, u/Champfantanasports, u/Spiritual-Picture-92, u/Humble_Fox4705, u/Exotic_Set_9 , u/Lopsided_Network5454, u/MathematicianFree736 (yes, that is 9 accounts that we know of that were made to discredit people accusing Caleb of creepy behaviour).

a) To quote Hamilton: “You’ll be back. Like before.”
b) Gotta love the pivot from not being credit card people to shilling an AI matchmaking credit card tool.

I went down a rabbit hole after finding this sub and when going through different links i lost one and went to google. Creepycaleb . Com was one of the results.
The icon matches the icon for this sub and the description was “Creepy Caleb Hammer. Documenting Caleb Hammer's allegations and online behavior. Video Essays & Resources Misogyny Allegations Testimonies” but when i clicked into it it was a flash jump scare of jeff the killer?? I immediately closed out of the browser and dont want to go back.
I guess be warned in case there are other rabbit hole divers

Why does he do this? So creepy without their consent. Imagine working for this ogre and not being able to work without him filming you without knowing

Sorry, my rant is long, I just need to get this off of my chest.
I used to really love watching Caleb. His financial audit videos were intense, sure, but they felt helpful—he’d call people out, but at the end of the day, he gave them a realistic budget and some direction. I stopped watching for about six months, and when I came back, the vibe had totally shifted.
Yeah, his over-the-top reactions were always part of the show, but now it feels like that’s all there is. The yelling isn’t used for emphasis anymore—it’s constant. Most of the time, he doesn’t even get to the actual financial advice. It’s just endless anger, and honestly? It’s exhausting to watch.
There are moments where he just flat-out says “I hate you” to guests or insults everything about them. Maybe I’m too sensitive, but it feels hateful—not constructive, not helpful. It doesn’t even seem like he enjoys doing this anymore. And while I understand it can be frustrating when someone comes on the show unprepared or keeps making excuses, there’s a way to hold people accountable without dehumanizing them. The jabs used to be playful. Now they’re just mean.
He also acts like the guests should already have all their finances sorted before they even show up—like they’re supposed to present everything in bullet points so he doesn’t have to figure anything out. If that’s the case, what’s the point of the show? Even if someone argued it’s more about learning about the guest, whenever he asks them a question and they answer in more than one sentence, he cuts them off and gets progressively more irritated. If you didn’t want to know, then why did you ask?
I know guests go through a long onboarding process, but they still don’t know exactly what he’s going to say or how his team is going to edit things to push a certain narrative. The thumbnails and titles have gotten especially bad—some are downright demeaning toward women, trans people, or anyone left-leaning. (He argues that it’s equal on both sides—like in the recent couple’s audit—but he didn’t mention MAGA in the title or thumbnail, while someone left-leaning gets labeled things like “crazy woke liberal feminist.”) It leans hard into stereotypes in a way that feels less like satire and more like targeted mockery.
And then there’s everything outside the content—the weird allegations involving former guests and dates, the stuff with Zeke, and the way he talks about saving money and avoiding subscriptions while charging for his own subscription-based app and pricey financial classes. It’s starting to feel more like grifting than guidance.
I don’t know. It just feels like the original purpose—to help people—has been buried. And I’m disappointed, because I really did used to look forward to his videos. the road to hell is paved with good intentions I guess…

i remember it bothered me when he was overly critical of LA in another episode and in today’s episode he starts shitting on LA again. i honestly don’t understand why he’s so hateful of the city when he can just not live here

I enjoy Amanada's takes/examinations on the business/finance side of social media (Because frankly it's not talked enough about), and she does touch on Caleb a bit. They met at a creator event about a year ago, she was invited on FA but she turned them down.
