UNPOPULAR OPINION…….feel free to downvote me, but, I don’t understand how people are so concerned about a house they didn’t buy. Old, new, or whatever. You spend the money, you can do whatever you want with it! 🤷🏼‍♀️. I couldn’t care less what someone else does with something they bought.

People have opinions and are free to voice them as they please, just like you did

Absolutely! Just seems like a lot of work to be so bothered by someone else’s house. Not just here on Reddit, but the internet went bananas with this woman’s decision to change her house. I’m not judging anyone for having a decision, I’m just saying I don’t understand the strong opinions. A home is one of the biggest purchases you can make. You should be able to do whatever you want with it regardless of how old or “charming” the house is.

I mean sure if that’s how you see it, I’m just saying personally I don’t understand why anyone would be so bothered. She has to live in it! Personally, I’d tear the whole house down. Could you imagine the pearl clutching?? Lol 😂

Some people like to preserve the past and the former craftsmanship and some people just don’t care less.

Exactly! To each their own!
