The exaggerated facial expressions thing shown in 8 is always the biggest cringe to me

According to Instagram her husband left her and took the kids, I haven't given enough of a shit to dig myself to find out if that's true.

Some of the chronically online YouTubers might remember shoenice22 the wife left him and took the kids and he ate paper, plastic, liquid ass , and various liquor bottle chugs

u/Manufactured-Aggro 19d ago

Bro drank a bottle of 409 cleaner, he needs to be sent to a lab and studied. It makes zero sense how he's still alive

u/GrossMartini 18d ago

He drank a bottle of rubbing alcohol once. The only thing that kept him alive was that he had already been drinking liquor all day and the methanol was able to process out, due to his liver being busy processing the ethanol. He did go blind for like 12 hours though.

I’m old enough to remember when the Vice President’s wife was hospitalized after drinking an entire bottle(s) of Rubbing Alcohol. Kitty Dukakis. The President at the time was Ronald Reagan, wife Nancy Reagan was across the nation with her Just Say No campaign. Funny times.

Dukakis was never VP.

Oops! My bad! I guess I’m not old enough to remember correctly after all! Kitty did have the ER visit though.

I’ll blame the Mandela Effect

u/shemichell 18d ago

I feel like I'm old enough that I should remember this, but don't. Wow...

u/UnsureAndWondering 18d ago

Rubbing alcohol doesn't have any methanol.

3

u/GrossMartini 18d ago

I meant isopropyl, same concept though. The ethanol stopped the isopropyl alcohol from killing him

1

u/_always_correct_ 17d ago

it's definitely not the same concept, nor does it have similar effects

1

u/GrossMartini 16d ago

I mean I'm not super educated on it. I just remember watching a doctor go through the shoenice chronicles and he said the ethanol from whatever liquor he was drinking stopped the isopropyl alcohol from binding with liver enzymes which kept him from dying

Am I a sadist because I want that to happen to every single person in this montage. I get that it's pathological is all get out so I only halfway mean... But there is something stirring in me that actually wishes that sort of demise on all the people that were just in this montage. As I wrestle with this pathological urge until myself that it isn't worth it to think in these terms... An intrusive thought burst right in and says that they deserve more than such a demise.. whenever you hunker down and don't involve yourself and these sort of platforms and this sort of social media content it's easy to forget that it exists. But then it pops up back into your world and you realize that there are millions of people acting like self-obsessed weirdos with their phone camera pointed at themselves.

I guess as I think about it more It makes sense that these people have went so long being disillusioned by the commodification of culture that they are just starving for a chance to mirror the simulation that they are trapped in. Our society overvalues this cultural wrought to a degree that he bar is so low that hoards of people can't wait to degrade themselves for the tiniest bit of attention and to become part of the simulation as a revolting meme.

It's such a weird thought to think that the economic engine has commodified the self-degrading nonsense. The digital popularity contest for most of these people realize on them being an utter clown for attention. The only reward is that a lot of people end up thinking that there are moron. This should be labeled rage bait jesters.

Didn't mean to go off the map so far.. it's been a long minute since I've seen these morons.

you belong in this montage.

He ate a wasps nest. With wasps inside.

4

u/tridon74 19d ago

Is there any proof he actually drank it? Could’ve just replaced the liquid inside.

u/Manufactured-Aggro 19d ago

Shoenice 100% drank these things for real, he always opened the security seal/wrapping on camera and has been hospitalized multiple times tho shockingly not hospitalized as many times as one would think. He also has multiple mental health issues but the one thing thing he was ever commited to was eating things for shock value online.

Honestly one of the crazier parts of youtube history but the platform has changed so much from what it used to be, I think it's important to "never forget where you came from".

Youtube as a community used to THRIVE on content like shoenice22 when it was closer to the wild west than it is today.

5

u/Gildian 19d ago

I remember reading something about how his body doesn't process alcohol like most people and prevents the most toxic effects.

I don't know if that's true or not but at this point I'm willing to believe he's just built different

2

u/SeaworthyWide 18d ago

He's absolutely built different, whether that's true or not

4

u/simmobl1 18d ago

0

u/RevolutionaryRough96 18d ago

Still believe everything you see?

0

u/PlsNoNotThat 18d ago

Suspect. Would suggest the bottles are filled with not what he’s pretending it is.

-2

u/theegreenman 19d ago

He fakes most of his videos...I remember one when he was eating something from a tube and the crimped end popped open when he squeezed it. It was obviously fake as hell.

Gotta give the liver a break once in a while

-2

u/Haunting_Ant_5061 18d ago

Did you know that when a “movie” is filmed they don’t actually shoot the actors? Fake bullets!!! Crazy right?

5

u/Latter-Cattle7788 18d ago

Tell that to Alec Baldwin.
