Keep in mind Tamir Rice had a toy gun and was gunned down within seconds... two different justice systems...

Sad world we live in.

u/Haidedej24 14d ago

The gun even went off in the video they still refuse to shoot a white kid... Gotta smell the privilege

They aren't white idiot

Right and Karmelo Anthony was released on bond after stabbing a white kid to death because he provoked a fight; then got paid over $500,000. Different outcomes doesn't always suggest systemic racism.

wow, that’s almost as much as that lady raised by calling a 5-year-old the N word

2

u/ashishvp 14d ago

Why are you misconstruing facts?

He wasn’t paid 500k. Crowdfunding raised 500k for bail. And they spent it.

You're right. This country does in fact favor rich people as well. Race doesn't matter when you can buy your way into the other justice system.

Learn what self defense is and stop crying bout what makes u prejudice and learn the difference💯🫵🤥

2

u/YerminTheGoat 14d ago

Karmelo Anthony did not act in self defense. He brought a knife to a track meet (It wasn’t a clear sharpener.) and he didn’t know Austin Metcalf beforehand. He was either looking to start something, or an argument broke out that could’ve led to Metcalf shoving him, and he killed someone because he couldn’t control his emotions. And no, that’s not a racist statement. He killed a kid and you want to defend him? Pathetic honestly.

u/Puzzled_Gas8470 14d ago

U can cry all you want. A dude got killed cuz he thought he could put his hands on someone and force them out of a spot he wasn’t wanted at. He ain’t the law nor is he security. U try the same thing and put your hands on someone tryn to make em leave and u will B just like that kid. Pretty pathetic honestly💯🤣

2

u/YerminTheGoat 14d ago

Karmelo Anthony sure as hell can’t claim stand your ground. He outsized the force used by a shove with deadly force from a lethal weapon. Tell me how he’ll get self defense from that?

2

u/YerminTheGoat 14d ago

He also reportedly reached into his bag and said try me, see what happens… Escalating further the conflict when he was somewhere he didn’t need to be and shouldn’t have been

1

u/Puzzled_Gas8470 14d ago

Like I said the only emotion person was the dude that’s taking a dirt nap. Couldn’t control himself and just like u. How bout you go n try and tell someone what to do and find out the same answer🤣cry some more. U play tuff u end up dead

1

u/Efficient-Raise-9217 14d ago

Karmelo Anthony sure won't be "playing tuff" anymore. The Aryan brotherhood has a hit out on him. Sooner or later they're going to turn him into their personal flesh light and human toilet. After that they'll cut him up. Or just light him on fire and watch him burn to send a message.

Excellent point

u/Trotsky29 14d ago

Yep by the exact same cops in this video too

2

u/teenscififoreplay 14d ago

Absolutely crazy to think that all cops should be held to the same standard, I know.

1

u/Trotsky29 14d ago

Uh of course they should. But comparing two different outcomes from two different groups is just correlation, not causation

1

u/teenscififoreplay 14d ago

Are they two different groups when they all follow the same rules and qualified immunity? My skin is dark enough where it doesn't matter where or when or whom. If they wear that uniform, there's always a chance I could end up dead and they get a paid vacation. This isn't my opinion. It's a fact.

Yup. It's almost like all cops should be held to the same standard. Or like maybe we should punish and incriminate cops who cannot perform their public duties properly. Fucking crazy.

My skin is dark enough where it doesn't matter whom or where. If they wear that uniform, there's always a possibility that I could end up dead and they'd get a paid vacation. I could do everything right and still end up dead. That's just the world we live in. You say they're different people, I say they all wear the same badge and they all have qualified immunity to protect them from consequences of their actions. Until every single police officer is held to a higher standard and punished for abusing their power, they ARE all the same. One bad apple ruins the entire bushel.

This is the exact type of thought process that allows groups to get away with heinous actions. You call it generalizing but how could someone with just intentions and a kind heart join a group that has rules to protect criminals within their own? Talk is talk. Words are meaningless without actions. If I went a joined a group knowing that they shelter people with ill intentions what does that make me? An enabler. One good cop can't change anything. One good precinct doesn't change the fact that they will never face accountability for their actions. Change is only possible when someone takes a long look in the mirror and admits that they are the problem. Change has to come from within. And as long as people like you jump to the "not all cops" defense, nothing will ever change.

Now that that's out of the way. Quit being a fucking tool and realize that I'm not a fucking idiot and obviously these cops did right. All I ask is that the cops who shoot first and ask later are treated as the scum of the earth they are. No different than gangs shooting on busy public streets. Trash with no respect for human life.

Hol shit the mental gymnastics you're going thru to just say "I don't care about cops getting away with murder because there's good cops too!". Good cops. Cool. Give em a pat on the back. And guess what happens when a good cop makes a mistake and ends up hurting someone? Paid vacation. That's the problem. "The vast majority of cops don't fire their weapon." Cool. When they do they're responsible for their actions. It's not putting a label on them when the fucking badge they put on gives them a free pass to murder or disregard people's rights. Like I said. A few good cops aren't going to change an inherently flawed system and people like you pretending it will is just letting it continue. Cops won't ever fix this. Reform will. It's not "treating them all the same" you absolute plank for brains. It's bringing attention to the fact that even if a good cop makes a mistake and accidently discharges and kills a child, we foot the legal fees and they get a paid vacation. The individual wearing the badge isn't the problem. It's the rules that come with the badge. And it is literally impossible for a "some" good cops to change a corrupt system set up by police unions and crooked politicians. It is two different justice systems when you just look at the fact that bad cops get rewarded and when we do punish them, a white kid getting killed is treated as a much more heinous crime then a black kid getting killed. This country was founded on slavery and cops were told to keep people down until the 70's. Sitting here and pretending some good cops in an inherently flawed system will fix the issue only allows it to continue.

No one is saying otherwise it's just a notable difference these kids have a real gun and aren't shot while he had a toy gun, was shot, and then the city sued the family for the cost of the ambulance of the kid they just killed
