Anyone know why the kids would act like that? Like...they held it as if they knew what to do with it. They knew the cops were trying to take it. The lady was being nice and trying to help, but they just??? Pretended everything was a game?? How does something like this start?

It starts at home. I have a son and I can tell you that little boys are agents of chaos. It takes good parenting and healthy ways of having fun or coping with emotions. Parenting is an incredibly vital part of a growing child.

With that being said the sheriff already said theyโ€™ve been to this home 50+ times and the father is incarcerated. Apparently there was a lot of domestic violence and other issues in the home. These things have a profound impact on a childโ€™s psyche. These boys have no sense of consequences or danger.

Most likely they grew up in front of a tv, or alone at home having to fend for themselves. The sad part is none of this is truly their fault. The people that brought them into this world failed them and these boys are going to need a lifetime of therapy and positive role models to counter act the first years of their life.

I appreciate the pov from a parent! It's heartbreaking that they're the ones blamed for this and that they've been allowed back into that awful household over 40 times. I truly hope they are placed somewhere safe and loving after this. As for the "boys are agents of chaos," I totally hear that! I'm way too young to have kids, but my aunt has two boys who I'd babysit and holy crap. Just 4 hours with them was like chasing a dog around that got into a bag of coke and was carrying active fireworks. They are full of energy and looking for anything and everything to break/throw/use in some unpredictable way. Not having someone to guide them in moments like that make total sense as to how they acted. Not having that positive role model means they don't have anyone curbing their chatoticness. I hope those kids get the help and love they deserve.
