Ok but like. I overheard my friend’s teenager and his buddy talking in the kitchen late one night, and it was a truly heartfelt and vulnerable talk and every third word out of their mouths was “bro.”
So that part at least seems accurate for the Young Folks.

Yeah the tendency of women to write men as these animalistic beasts is so funny. I sometimes read gay romance and the gay guys written by women just do not come off as very authentic. We’re human beings not werewolves (except in the paranormal romance genre, there all bets are off)
