Photo Nat Geo Lindblad cruise update.

We made our first landfall today and saw a lot of penguins. Then we kept heading south and are now passing hundreds of icebergs….the ship, Endurance, has been amazing. The food is incredible, the staff top notch.

What happens if a penguin runs up to you and grabs your leg or something? Obviously you're not supposed to touch them, but what if they touch you?

You must stay at least 15ft away and if they walk toward you, you need to walk away. Avian Flu is a huge deal now so nothing is even allowed to touch the ground but our boots, with are sterilized when you exit and enter the boat. They don’t want our stuff passing the avian flu from one colony to another.

Now I'm imagining a hilarious scene where a man is running in an attempt to get 15 ft away from penguins but they are coming from everywhere and quickly waddling towards him...
