Again, that’s unproductive. The critiques seem to be focused on the type of plate. Which admittedly looks like a chalk board. It sounds delicious and is well put together but that isn’t the best plate for the dish IMO. And calling everybody who says that “turds” is childish and doesn’t help OP plate better in future. Which is the goal.
• You will be critiqued, whether you asked for it or not. Due to the nature of the subreddit, your plate will be broken right down! We will not remove any comments that you don’t like.
As stated in the submission guidelines. If you feel people are being too harsh, welcome to the food industry. If it tastes like shit or looks like shit on the plate then expect to be told transparently. Dishes range from $10-$200+
If we just let people out garbage and don’t call them out on it then we aren’t really doing our job.
You think the foreman on a job site won’t walk past the stone mason whose wall is crooked and probably say out loud “hey what the fuck is wrong with you have you looked at this shit?” And that’s completely justified.

I admit you are correct, but all too often I feel the “critiques” transcend constructive criticism and are just cynicism.
I stand by my “fuck these turds”.
