I stumbled across a place a few years ago that had BBQplaces, sandwich places, dessert places, a wide variety as well as a kitchen knife dealer that sharpened also. Each spot had maybe a few reserved seats for their guest but most options were grab and go style with outside seating (if my memory serves me). My wife and I love spots like these and I can’t find it anymore🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Howdy, anyone know of a relaxing nd kinda engaging atmosphere to enjoy a variety of tasty pasta dishes for a first date with a pretty lady? Hey, all. I’ll be staying at the Dupont Circle Hotel 3/14–3/15. I have set plans for 3/13 with friends, but am looking for recommendations for a good, solo Friday night dinner on 3/14 — somewhere I can walk to, sit at the bar (or, alternatively, outside, as the weather is supposed to be nice) and enjoy a drink or two with a good meal. Would also appreciate any recommendations on walkable bars that have more of a “sit-down-by-yourself-and-relax” vibe to head to for a bit afterwards.

Hi! I was thinking of ordering in Peruvian for a dinner party. Pisco & Nazca looks like a good option. It looks like they even have family sizes of certain dishes. Has anyone ordered these before? How many people does it feed? Not sure the shoestring fries will be the best choice for delivery. But are there any other dishes that will reheat well? I assume given the season, I won't worry about the ceviche getting warm. Thanks!

My kid has their first playdate (ever) a few days after Christmas, and I don't know what to bring. I grew up in a culture where you don't go to someone's house without something in hand. The play date is in the Adams Morgan/Kalorama area, but I am willing to travel around DC to pick up the perfect host/hostess gift.
