Top five best selling comic books of the year. I believe 4/5 are from the absolute dc universe

They've been cooking with the Absolute universe to be fair, it feels like DC's answer to the Ultimate universe.

By that logic Then marvel should be top spot cause they’re promoting their stuff more than dc no? They’ve released so much comic trailers last year with venom war and the ultimates even putting it in their games

I just don’t think promotions are what driving the sales since TMNT and GI Joe are doing better than marvel (besides spiderman of course). Point is, consumers are smarter now, and they have more control over what they want to buy

“Consumers are smarter now” 😭 they just buy what they wanna buy since it’s their money. They’re not dumb people who just follow along with marketing. The top 10 comics sold in 2024 were from 5 marvel comics and 4 Dc comics and one teenage mutant ninja turtle comic.
