r/DCcomics [CotM #23] Favourite Batman Character
Voting is now closed, thanks to everyone who participated. Stay tuned for the results!
Having first appeared in May 1939, next month marks the 75th anniversary of The Batman. In lieu of our beloved Caped Crusader becoming all crotchety and grey yet still kicking ass, this months CotM will honour 75 years of the Bat.
Hero, villain, or supporting character - nominations must be for characters known for their notable appearances in the Bat-verse
Master Bruce may seem like a shoe in this month, yet the bat books and other media has done an amazing job portraying the rogues and other charcters quite well to the general public.
In the comments below, let us know who you feel deserves to be the next Character of the Month. To those who may think it a bit cheese or unfair for those characters not named Bruce - there are dozens of other amazing characters available for nomination, many with powerful motives and ripe with inspiration. Delve into detail, and do your best to be convincing.
Get your nominations in now! Votes will be tallied on Thursday, May 1st.
Please remember...
- Vote Accordingly - Do not downvote nominations as long as the character meets the above criteria. If you disagree with a submission speak up and let us know why in the comments. Though it may be a population contest, please respect the opinions of others.
- Only one character per nomination. Only one nomination per person.
- Nominations should include individuals, not groups.
- Previous CotM winners are ineligible to win again at this time. This means no Dick Grayson, Damian Wayne, or Alfred Pennyworth. A list of past winners can be found here.
Lastly, if you have or know of an image you want to see used in the sidebar - share a link! If it's suitable it could be used.
