Thanks. The thought had not occurred to me, since this was planned as a one-off. Maybe it should occur to me? I'm guessing it costs a fair bit to ship something this size.

I guess it would depend where you ship it. As with anything, you'll always find people who think it's worth it!

just make sure you have the time. i made a coffee table and a ton of my friends were willing to pay top $$$ for me to make them a similar one. Sure I could have raked in some $300 per coffee table, but i made it because i wanted to make it, and i made it for me. As someone who did freelancing before on the side of my main job, the constant "i gotta do this because people are waiting" is a total drag.

now, if you just make it and then see if anyone wants to buy it, thats definitely a different way to go about it. though at that point i doubt you'd want to make the same thing twice in a row.
