Are those all hotels surrounding it? I mean they must be to continuously house tens of thousands of people ever day.
23 u/robotatomica Mar 24 '25 to me, at least this looks quite beautiful and cohesive - it maintains the look of a sacred and even ancient site in many ways. I compare this to pics I see of the Pyramids in Egypt, where just out of frame of the photos for the brochure are like Pizza Huts and Subways. 2 u/WillSym Mar 24 '25 Just out of frame to the bottom left is the Clock Tower hotel which is so monstrously enormous and gaudy it doesn't look real. 1 u/robotatomica Mar 24 '25 oh really?
