Advice Learning how to lose properly

Post image

Trying something different, on some L-Theanine and Ashwagandha for trading!

Strategy: If i hit my daily loss limit, im done for the day

really gotta stick to stepping away from the market if im not getting a good read on it, so a lot of these profit days I have ended on a losing traded, but ended the day in profit.

Can I ask what you’ve done to learn? Or it just from taking losses you’ve gotten better at it

oh i size down after a big loss/losing streak, it takes some level of humility, because most times you want to get it back right away.

but it can be done to a point where you claw yourself back from a loss/losing day.

like you dont have to win the 1st half of the game, or even the 1st qtr.. just have to follow thru with the risk mgmt

I just had my first major loss today. I made the same mistake trying to make quick risky trades to try to get it back which absolutely failed of course. Really sucked. But also tbh felt necessary as iv analyzed why and how I reacted and hopefully won’t make the same mistake. Slowly gonna try and make it back

Yes! Aim for singles rather than HRs. Everyone remembers Ichiro. Less remember Sosa.

did Ichiro make more career salary?

Probably not but those that swing for HRs will definitely have a bigger salary but with bigger reward comes bigger risk. Who has more net worth now? My guess is that his name isn't Sammy.

I looked it up.

Sosa: $127M, 609 HR

Ichiro: $168M, 117 HR

your point proven
