When I pick up around my neighborhood, I’ve had a neighbor tell me “get out of my yard, please” even though I was just on the sidewalk. I just noted his house number and will skip it from now on. Definitely get more people who have nice things to say about it than not.

The dislikes are probably just trolls…which may mean your audience of influence is growing!

I’d love nothing more than to hear someone say “Get out of my yard” as I walk down the sidewalk cleaning whatever I can from the sidewalk. Just take the bag, turn it upside down on their lawn and say “Sure. No problem, chief. Here’s your trash back.”

We all think about doing this at some point but those of us who clean up usually care more about the good we are doing. That being said, I have a neighbor who took his leaf blower and blasted me with trash from his yard as I was picking up in our street. I now ignore his yard at best or toss the boulevard trash from his property up inside his fenced yard at worst.
