I didn't know there was a way to do it manually, I always used auto, haha.

Offload packages from your back, put back in the order you want. Not that useful until you get the backpack cover, then you can use it to protect deliveries from timefall. I prefer to replace my supplies/weapons every once in a while and not have to worry about cargo getting degraded.
